Thereare 4 armor sets and then the Armor of Altair. If you buy any type of armor then you cannot take it off, however the Armor of Altair is an exception. The Armor of Altair is a complete set, you must wear all the pieces together, so if you try to put on just the Leather Greaves it will unequip the chest piece, spaulders of Altair, etc.

Odysseyit was needed because you were getting this constant amount of bs gear and wanted to make it look cooler. But in this game you can level up any gear you like and make it equal to or better then the gear piece. The feature to change the look of your armor was added after the fact in Odyssey.

Ican see where slotting runes for gear slots would be nice. I often find myself re slotting runes when I switch weapons. I tried to make builds that I just rotate through. I don’t mix and match much. What I would like to see is a chest to store unused gear. I use 2 or three armor sets at a time. Cycle through all the pieces sometimes bugs me
